In the Digit.ink issuing system, adding a QR code to your credential is a simple process.
In Step 2 of the issuing process, just click on the “Add QR Code” button located on the upper-right side of the credential editor. You can adjust the size and position as needed.
Why incorporate a QR Code?
The QR Code serves as a functional mark of authenticity for Digit.ink credentials. Each QR Code is distinct and links to the credential’s URL. This allows certificate images on a phone screen, PDFs found in an email, and even paper certificates to point to their verifiable digital counterparts. By just scanning the QR Code, one can validate the authenticity and details of the credential, ensuring trustworthiness and eliminating the chance of forgery.
