How do I password protect my credentials?

Modified on Wed, 22 Nov, 2023 at 2:35 PM

To password protect your credentials, follow these steps:

In Step 2 of the issuing process, look for the “Advanced Settings” button on the right side just below the “Continue” button. Click to expand it.

Toggle “Password-protect credentials” to switch it on.
When activated, each credential in the batch will have a unique, auto-generated password which recipients will need to access their credential page.

Where do I find the passwords?

In the “Credentials” view, if you click on a credential within a password-protected batch, you'll have the option to copy its password.

To view passwords for the entire batch:

Select all credentials in the batch using the checkbox at the top of the panel.

Click "Download" and choose the "Credential Links" spreadsheet.

This spreadsheet provides names, email addresses, passwords, and links for each recipient's credential.

Note: You can utilize this spreadsheet with mail-merge applications to securely send each recipient their specific password and credential link.
